The workshop
The Golden Age Of Broadway! A three-hour workshop in London celebrating a musical heyday from Broadway to Hollywood. The fabulous Lizzie Deane will be bringing out our inner Jean Simmons (or Marlon Brando). We’ll be transported back to 1950s New York City with a wonderful arrangement of ‘Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat from Guys and Dolls, and then we’ll be off to an island in the South Pacific during World War II to sing one of the greatest musical numbers, ‘Some Enchanted Evening’.
Lizzie
Having performed and toured with many highly acclaimed artists including Pee Wee Ellis & Fred Wesley (JB Horns), Carleen Anderson, Marcella Detroit, Martha High, Mica Paris, Kim Mazelle and Jocelyn Brown, as well as Boy George, Belinda Carlisle, Howard Jones and Just Jack, Lizzie Deane has gained a wealth of experience on stage and in TV and radio.
Not only is Lizzie a hugely talented performer, but she’s also a wonderful, human being and sensational teacher, whose empathy and care is second to none. Together with her infectious wit, she really can coax out the very best from all who sing with her.
As always, Lizzie’s workshops are a not to be missed evening of empowerment and laughter.
